How Renuvion Works
Renuvion tightens loose skin by combining two energy sources in a single handheld device: radiofrequency energy and helium plasma. Dr. Claytor inserts the Renuvion wand beneath the skin through a small incision, about the width of a pencil eraser.

What to Expect During the Procedure
Dr. Claytor performs Renuvion and AYON procedures under local or general anesthesia, decided together with each patient based on the treatment plan. During a combined procedure, fat removal with ultrasound-assisted liposuction comes first; Dr. Claytor then uses Renuvion to contract the remaining tissue through the same small incisions.
