What to expect at your consultation
When you arrive for your consultation, you will view an informational video about the procedure in which you are interested. This will answer many of your questions and perhaps bring up more that you will want to discuss with your surgeon.
You will learn the surgeon’s board certifications, his experience and the societies of which he is a member. You will discuss with the doctor your areas of concern and together you will create a plan to meet your realistic expectations. And you will meet your surgeon’ team! Your surgeon’s team is an important part of your care team, and you will want to assess your rapport with the team. Be sure that you have the doctor’s full attention and that all of your questions and concerns are fully addressed.
Pre-op photos will be taken, and risks and expected results will be discussed. You will also view before and after photos. When you have completed your consultation with the doctor, you will meet with Dr. Claytor’s practice manager, Debbie Lander, to discuss facility options, costs and fees as well as financing options should you desire to finance your procedure.
